New Tyler Carter single “King Of Amarillo” goes hard against Woe, Is Me.
Hidden even deeper within an obvious Sega Genesis reference, lies a back story you wouldn’t know about unless you keep up with Tyler and his former project Woe, Is Me. Genesi[s] being the new album by Woe, and all of the remaining members are feeling the hate from Tyler’s new project “Issues”
Fans of the “Post Hardcore” Genre know that the lyrics are not always hateful, but there is no holding back or beating around the bush with King Of Amarillo. They have a message to convey and they do it in a pretty original way. A little bit of industrial, R&B, and of course post-hardcore.
This conflict is stirring up quite a few conversations and possibly even and “hip-hopish” beef battle. We will see if Woe retaliates in anyway. I think it would be best to let it die out, as Tyler and the rest of Issues are just writing one song to get it off their chest, or are they? Lyrics “And I can’t wait to say whatever, and I can’t wait to shed some light
On every little thing you’ve broken, and get on with my life” may foreshadow even more dirty laundry to be exposed in future songs. We will have to wait and see when the album is released.
This song does contain strong language and would not be considered safe for work.
