IGN UP FOR SALE: BUY BUY BUY
Apparently, IGN hasn’t been bring home the bacon.
It is currently up for auction for a paltry $100 mil by News Corp, IGN’s parent company. Keep in mind that in 2005, News Corp purchased the company for $650 mil! They are willing to take a major loss to move it quickly.
I have to wonder why? I thought all of these big name game sites raked in money through either ads or straight up payoffs.
Something must be changing in the gaming industry, I just wonder what’s up?
Next week, they gonna announce that GameStop is going out of business?
I would squeal with delight if Gamestop went out of business. It’s nothing but a shady pawn shop for video games.
