Great Savings/THQ Deathwatch News
Since there hasn’t been any more news about Rhode Island video game-related legal action, I guess it’s time to talk about THQ some more.
THQ and the shadowy multinational conglomerate behind the Humble Bundle have put out a special THQ Humble Bundle. The pay-what-you-want bundle includes the RTS Company of Heroes plus add-ons, the original Darksiders, Red Faction: Armageddon, Metro 2033, and (if you pay more than the average, currently $5.39) Saints’ Row the Third. I’ve only played through one of these games (SR3), but I’ve heard good things about Company of Heroes and Metro 2033, good-to-middling things about Darksiders, and that Red Faction: Armageddon exists.
That being said, I think $6-ish is a bargain for SR3 alone, not to mention all those other games. If, like me, you’re a PC-only cheapskate who hasn’t played half of these games, or if you want to get some THQ games before they inevitably declare bankruptcy and get bought by Activision and Volition ends up churning out CoD maps, check this bundle out.
