Commercialization: Donkey Kong Country Returns
Meh, just meh. This commercial looks like it had a huge budget: They had complete gorilla suits with working animatronic facial expressions, an indoor set with fake trees, etc… It looks good, but literally all they were showing off was one move in a game. Why would they not focus on the whole game or talk about how fun it is, or make it look fun?
Who is their target audience? Kids or people who played DKC as kids? It seems to pander to the younger audience, but it is not kid friendly; the gorillas are kind of scary. This is just a well executed yet poorly planned commercial.
Bring back the 90′s commercial writers. These new writers do not make me want to play the game.
