This weeks BeATW is EXTREME!!! Actually the Game Boy Pocket wasn’t part of the “Play it Loud!” series I am so fond of, This was a Limited Edition release from 1997 (a year after the Game Boy Pockets were launched). Since it was a second edition GBP, it had the Battery life indicating LED unlike the first edition of the GBP. This was added due to public demand. This same EXTREME GREEN edition was released in 1998 in Japan as a Toys R’ Us exclusive. It is so RADICAL! It is also $189 on eBay. Free shipping!
