Arlin Plays Psychonauts- Waterloo World Part 3

Onward, time to achieve victory! This level made me realize just how few levels in Psychonauts actually have more than one or two unique enemies. The censors being everywhere works quite well, despite their relatively generic nature. It’s explained in a way that makes sense for the setting, and there are still multiple kinds of censors that show up, so they don’t get particularly old or bothersome. It saves a lot of work on the developer side of things, which gives them more time for things like level design; the effort certainly shows. In this level, for example, there’s only a single unique enemy, i.e., the cannon snails.
On an unrelated note, I find it interesting that Napoleon resorts to cheating at the end, even after we took pains not to do so. If all is fair in war, why didn’t Raz simply set the soldiers on fire and be done with it? The only answer I can come to is a difference in personality and morals, and I still think it makes enough sense.
