Arlin Plays Psychonauts- Waterloo World Part 2
Here we are, embroiled in a war game of the highest caliber. Or at least, it would be, but it’s really just a twisted version of said board game in the psyche of a former orderly! Much as I’d like to see actual rules for Waterloo World, I don’t expect that level of detail from anyone, especially given the context in which we play. That said, it seems to be a conglomeration of assorted objectives and fetch quests. Normally I’d get rather irritated with this sort of setup, but it’s enough fun just to run around and explore to find the various pieces of the puzzle that I find myself not frustrated in the slightest. At least, not with the act of running around. It also helps considerably that there is a comedic payoff for each step of any retrieval.
